| for those that wanted to see them on their wedding day (i only took a few): notice the Mike n Ike's on the table
thank God for sparing their lives in the accident they had less than a week thereafter! it was one of those weekends where you come back with a "full", happy, and content heart. nothing extraordinary, simply a really good few days of being with friends from various places, celebrating with Mike an Rach, and having more than "hello, goodbye" conversations with each other. we (the bridal table servers) had a bit too much fun sitting in the back of the church commenting about everything throughout (most of) the wedding, hey that's what happens when your servers are almost all pretty good friends with multiple terms of bible school and trips between them and to boot, you seat them in the very back in a separate section! the girl that you see with me in all the pics is well, i don't know what i would've done the last two years without her..amanda she is. i'm blessed, indeed!! minus the numerous 'things' thrown at me for a full half hour, at least, Sat. night, ahem, and the train ride. oh yes, pretty sure i don't want to do that again, not in the same fashion, from Penn Station, NY to Elkhart, IN, 16 + hours, by myself, attempting to sleep with a strange man beside me in the seat and eating with another one who talked endlessly...but i tried it which was my objective. i actually toasted to unemployment the other night. of course, if my church paid me, i'd be rich, JK!! volunteer employee, that sounds better. i'm feeling sick again-still, i'm guessing it's flaring up from too much activity the last six months...have to tiptoe around myself, try not to let my body know it's doing something so I can have a life..it's hard. it's a pain. forever annoying. really frustrating. and no, i don't look it, but i feel it. life in your twenties should not be similar to life in your seventies. so when i'm lacking social graces, please understand. tissues are calling my name right now.
| bmabi is long over with, though it's great having new friendships that won't be over with soon. TPW-give it up for tub talks! in between there and here i've been CRASHING, spent a week with amanda and everyone else in plain city, visiting my sis and her family in FL, getting things ready for VBS in july, wrapping up kids club, and yearning for some nicely visible veins to draw blood from-call me a vampire, it's called phlebotomy. i think the bma people should come and visit joel and i...we could do more teapot songs i can't think of anything to say right now so I'lljustbequiet. not sure bout my site's new look (profile pic-gotta go? i think the hair looks weird, it just blew in my face), what think ye? c'mon, be honest. valeta came to visit
my Ecuadorian flag i got to see Elian (the baby) for the first time! awww...

| pictures seem anti-pithy (grammar?) right now. after the week i've had, extremely so. what are they compared to the tears of deep pain, anguish of soul, one incident after another, wheelchairs, car accidents, and reuniting with friends? yes, my week has been full of these and no, not all these happened to me personally. hoping for a calmer next week. no more fainting spells, sprains, panic attacks, trauma, confusion, ...or tournaments:). all in a day's work, i suppose. if you are a dean anyway. really, it is great experiencing things in a community like this. and i wouldn't trade my job for most anything. it is my privilege to be here and i love trying to be of help where needed. | | |
| clash day
"sound of music"-talent night
all school bowling night (can you find me?)
most of our "spanish group"-we like to talk spanish, eat spanish food together, and go to a spanish church in town, it's great
poof day-check out the back row
who knows what they're doing, but i love these girls needless to say, they are pretty random/weird pictures and not all-inclusive. one would think we are shallow party animals who never study or have soul deep discussions or heartrending moments. well, we do all those things, too. trust me, we do.
